Bu\u010fte si jisti t\u00edm, \u017ee to nutn\u011b mus\u00ed b\u00fdt to nejlep\u0161\u00ed, jako\u017ee B\u016fh \u017eije, a \u017ee \u017e\u00e1dn\u00fdm zp\u016fsobem u\u017e to ani lep\u0161\u00ed b\u00fdt nem\u016f\u017ee.<\/p>\n<p>A i kdyby se snad n\u011bco jin\u00e9ho zd\u00e1lo b\u00fdt lep\u0161\u00ed, p\u0159ece by to pro tebe lep\u0161\u00ed b\u00fdt nemuselo, nebo\u0165 B\u016fh to chce pr\u00e1v\u011b takto, a nijak jinak, a tedy <em>takto<\/em> to pro tebe nutn\u011b mus\u00ed b\u00fdt to nejlep\u0161\u00ed. Pokud tedy na tebe B\u016fh se\u0161le nemoc, chudobu, hlad, \u017e\u00edze\u0148, anebo a\u0165 u\u017e je to cokoliv, \u010d\u00edm t\u011b B\u016fh nav\u0161t\u00edv\u00ed a co ti d\u00e1 nebo ned\u00e1, to v\u0161e je pro tebe to nejlep\u0161\u00ed. V\u011bzte, \u017ee kdyby to v\u016fle Bo\u017e\u00ed nebyla, pak by se to nestalo. Nestihne t\u011b nemoc ani nic jin\u00e9ho, pokud tomu tak B\u016fh nechce. A pon\u011bvad\u017e v\u00ed\u0161, \u017ee je to v\u016fle Bo\u017e\u00ed, m\u011bl bys v\u00a0tom nach\u00e1zet zal\u00edben\u00ed a uspokojen\u00ed, abys \u017e\u00e1dn\u00e9 tr\u00e1pen\u00ed nepova\u017eoval za tr\u00e1pen\u00ed; arci, i kdyby t\u011b m\u011bla stihnout ta nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed muka a ty bys pak poci\u0165oval n\u011bjakou tr\u00fdze\u0148 \u010di utrpen\u00ed, bylo by n\u011bco \u0161patn\u011b. M\u011bl bys to i tak ch\u00e1pat, \u017ee t\u011b B\u016fh nav\u0161t\u00edvil t\u00edm nejlep\u0161\u00edm, proto\u017ee pro tebe to nutn\u011b mus\u00ed b\u00fdt to nejlep\u0161\u00ed. V\u017edy\u0165 byt\u00ed Bo\u017e\u00ed\u00a0jest zalo\u017eeno tak, \u017ee chce to nejlep\u0161\u00ed. Proto to mus\u00edm cht\u00edt j\u00e1 a nem\u00e1m m\u00edt v\u00a0n\u011b\u010dem v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed zal\u00edben\u00ed. Kdybych se cht\u011bl n\u011bjak\u00e9mu \u010dlov\u011bku opravdu zal\u00edbit a byl si jist, \u017ee se mu budu v\u00edc l\u00edbit v\u00a0\u0161ed\u00e9m \u0161atu ne\u017e v\u00a0n\u011bjak\u00e9m jin\u00e9m, by\u0165 by byl seben\u00e1dhern\u011bj\u0161\u00ed, pak nen\u00ed pochyb o tom, \u017ee ten \u0161ed\u00fd mi bude milej\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e n\u011bjak\u00fd jin\u00fd, i kdyby byl ten druh\u00fd sebelep\u0161\u00ed. Kdybych se snad cht\u011bl n\u011bkomu zal\u00edbit, pak bych to, o \u010dem bych v\u011bd\u011bl, \u017ee by ten \u010dlov\u011bk r\u00e1d m\u011bl, od\u011bl do slov a \u010din\u016f a nic jin\u00e9ho bych ned\u011blal. Nu\u017ee, sami si te\u010f vyzkou\u0161ejte, jak jste na tom s\u00a0va\u0161\u00ed l\u00e1skou! Pokud Boha milujete, nem\u016f\u017ee v\u00e1s nic napl\u0148ovat v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed radost\u00ed ne\u017e to, co se mu l\u00edb\u00ed ze v\u0161eho nejv\u00edce, a aby se vrchovat\u011b naplnila v\u016fle Jeho. A\u0165 u\u017e jsou sou\u017een\u00ed nebo tr\u00fdze\u0148 sebekrut\u011bj\u0161\u00ed, pakli\u017ee v\u00a0nich nenal\u00e9z\u00e1\u0161 zal\u00edben\u00ed, nen\u00ed to v\u00a0po\u0159\u00e1dku.<\/p>\n<p>R\u00e1d \u010dasto \u0159\u00edk\u00e1v\u00e1m, a je to pravda, \u017ee se ka\u017ed\u00fd den dovol\u00e1v\u00e1me a sna\u017en\u011b pros\u00edme p\u0159i Ot\u010den\u00e1\u0161i: \u201ePane, bu\u010f v\u016fle tv\u00e1!\u201c<a href=\"#_ftn4\" name=\"_ftnref4\">[4]<\/a> A kdy\u017e se pak Jeho v\u016fle napln\u00ed, hn\u011bv\u00e1me se a neuspokojuje n\u00e1s. A\u0165 u\u017e v\u0161ak u\u010din\u00ed cokoliv, m\u00e1me v\u00a0tom m\u00edt v\u017edy to nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed zal\u00edben\u00ed. Ti, kdo\u017e to takto p\u0159ij\u00edmaj\u00ed, z\u016fst\u00e1vaj\u00ed nep\u0159estajn\u011b v\u00a0dokonal\u00e9m pokoji. Nu\u017ee, mo\u017en\u00e1 si ob\u010das mysl\u00edte a tak\u00e9 si \u0159\u00edk\u00e1te: \u201eAch, k\u00e9\u017e by to bylo jinak, tak by to bylo lep\u0161\u00ed\u201c, nebo \u201ekdyby se to nestalo, mo\u017en\u00e1 by to b\u00fdvalo bylo lep\u0161\u00ed.\u201c Dokud se ti to tak zd\u00e1, nikdy nebude\u0161 m\u00edt pokoje. M\u011bl bys to br\u00e1t jako to nejlep\u0161\u00ed. Jen ten, kter\u00fd je nejlep\u0161\u00ed a nejvybran\u011bj\u0161\u00ed ze v\u0161ech, je opravdov\u00fd dar a je j\u00edm v\u00a0tom nejvlastn\u011bj\u0161\u00edm smyslu. B\u016fh nic ned\u00e1v\u00e1 rad\u011bji ne\u017e velk\u00e9 dary. Kdysi jsem tu \u0159ekl, \u017ee B\u016fh dokonce odpou\u0161t\u00ed rad\u011bji velk\u00e9 h\u0159\u00edchy ne\u017e mal\u00e9. A \u010d\u00edm v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed jsou, t\u00edm rad\u011bji a rychleji je odpou\u0161t\u00ed. A pr\u00e1v\u011b tak tomu je s\u00a0milost\u00ed, dary a ctnostmi: \u010d\u00edm v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed jsou, t\u00edm rad\u011bji obdarov\u00e1v\u00e1, nebo\u0165 Jeho podstata jest v\u00a0tom, \u017ee d\u00e1v\u00e1 <em>velk\u00e9<\/em> dary. A proto \u010d\u00edm cenn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed jsou, t\u00edm v\u00edce jich d\u00e1v\u00e1. Nejvzne\u0161en\u011bj\u0161\u00ed stvo\u0159en\u00ed jsou and\u011bl\u00e9 a ti jsou cele duchovn\u00ed, nemaj\u00ed \u017e\u00e1dnou t\u011blesnost, je jich nejv\u00edce, a dokonce je jich v\u00edce ne\u017e stvo\u0159en\u00fdch v\u011bc\u00ed. Velk\u00e9 v\u011bci se maj\u00ed spr\u00e1vn\u011b naz\u00fdvat \u201edary\u201c, jsou Bohu vlastn\u00ed a n\u00e1le\u017e\u00ed jenom Jemu.<\/p>\n<p>Jednou jsem \u0159ekl, \u017ee to, co lze vpravd\u011b vyj\u00e1d\u0159it slovy, mus\u00ed vych\u00e1zet z\u00a0nitra ven a mus\u00ed to b\u00fdt nitern\u011b pro\u017eito: nep\u0159ich\u00e1z\u00ed to zvn\u011bj\u0161ku dovnit\u0159, n\u00fdbr\u017e z\u00a0nitra ven. \u017dije to p\u0159\u00edmo v\u00a0nejvnit\u0159n\u011bj\u0161\u00edm koutku du\u0161e. V\u0161e tam uvnit\u0159 \u017eije, je p\u0159\u00edtomno a shled\u00e1v\u00e1me to tam v tom nejlep\u0161\u00edm a nejvy\u0161\u0161\u00edm. Jak to, \u017ee sis ni\u010deho nev\u0161iml? Proto\u017ee tam nejsi doma. \u010c\u00edm vzne\u0161en\u011bj\u0161\u00ed n\u011bco je, t\u00edm je to obecn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed. Smysly m\u00e1me spole\u010dn\u00e9 se zv\u00ed\u0159aty a \u017eivot sd\u00edl\u00edme i s\u00a0kv\u011btinami. Byt\u00ed je je\u0161t\u011b nitern\u011bj\u0161\u00ed, m\u00e1me je spole\u010dn\u00e9 s cel\u00fdm stvo\u0159en\u00edm. Nebesa skr\u00fdvaj\u00ed v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed hlubiny ne\u017e v\u0161e, co je pod nimi; proto jsou tak\u00e9 vzne\u0161en\u011bj\u0161\u00ed. \u010c\u00edm vzne\u0161en\u011bj\u0161\u00ed v\u011bci jsou, t\u00edm jsou v\u0161eobsa\u017en\u011bj\u0161\u00ed a v\u0161eobecn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed. L\u00e1ska je vzne\u0161en\u00e1, nebo\u0165 je v\u0161eobj\u00edmaj\u00edc\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>To, co n\u00e1m P\u00e1n p\u0159ik\u00e1zal, se zd\u00e1 b\u00fdt t\u011b\u017ek\u00e9: aby \u010dlov\u011bk miloval bli\u017en\u00edho sv\u00e9ho jako sebe sama.<a href=\"#_ftn5\" name=\"_ftnref5\">[5]<\/a> Obhroubl\u00ed lid\u00e9 oby\u010dejn\u011b \u0159\u00edkaj\u00ed, \u017ee je to my\u0161leno takto: bli\u017en\u00ed je t\u0159eba milovat s\u00a0ohledem na to dobro, pro kter\u00e9 m\u00e1 \u010dlov\u011bk r\u00e1d s\u00e1m sebe. Nikoliv, tak tomu nen\u00ed. Je t\u0159eba je milovat pr\u00e1v\u011b tak jako sebe sama a to nen\u00ed t\u011b\u017ek\u00e9. Kdy\u017e si to dob\u0159e promysl\u00edte, pak je l\u00e1ska sp\u00ed\u0161e odm\u011bnou ne\u017e p\u0159\u00edkazem. P\u0159\u00edkaz se zd\u00e1 b\u00fdt obt\u00ed\u017en\u00fd, ale odm\u011bna je vytou\u017een\u00e1. Ten, kdo miluje Boha tak, jak Ho milovat m\u00e1 a tak\u00e9 mus\u00ed, a\u0165 u\u017e chce nebo ne, a stejn\u011b jako Ho miluj\u00ed v\u0161echna stvo\u0159en\u00ed, ten tak\u00e9 mus\u00ed milovat bli\u017en\u00edho sv\u00e9ho jako sebe sama, t\u011b\u0161it se z jeho radosti jako ze sv\u00e9 vlastn\u00ed, tou\u017eit po jeho poct\u011b jako po sv\u00e9 vlastn\u00ed a v\u0161e ciz\u00ed milovat jako sv\u00e9 vlastn\u00ed. A tak bude \u017e\u00edt pov\u017edy v\u00a0radosti, cti a prosp\u011bchu, bude tomu jako v\u00a0kr\u00e1lovstv\u00ed nebesk\u00e9m a bude se radovat \u010dast\u011bji, ne\u017e kdyby m\u011bl radost jen z vlastn\u00edho dobra. Hled\u00e1\u0161 n\u011bco s\u00a0pomoc\u00ed Bo\u017e\u00ed a chov\u00e1\u0161 se, jako kdybys cht\u011bl ud\u011blat z\u00a0Boha sv\u00edci a pak s\u00a0n\u00ed n\u011bco hledal. A kdy\u017e \u010dlov\u011bk nalezne to, co hledal, nakonec tu sv\u00edci zahod\u00ed. P\u0159esn\u011b to d\u011bl\u00e1\u0161. Hled\u00e1\u0161-li n\u011bco s\u00a0pomoc\u00ed Bo\u017e\u00ed, i kdyby to bylo cokoliv, nen\u00ed to <em>nic<\/em>, a\u0165 u\u017e je to prosp\u011bch, odm\u011bna nebo niternost. Jde\u0161 za <em>ni\u010d\u00edm<\/em>, proto tak\u00e9 <em>nic<\/em> nal\u00e9z\u00e1\u0161. To, \u017ee <em>nic<\/em> nenalezne\u0161, je zp\u016fsobeno jen t\u00edm, \u017ee to <em>nic<\/em> hled\u00e1\u0161. Ve\u0161ker\u00e9 stvo\u0159en\u00ed je \u010dir\u00e9 nic. Ne\u0159\u00edk\u00e1m, \u017ee je m\u00e9n\u011bcenn\u00e9 nebo \u017ee to v\u016fbec n\u011bco je: je to \u010dir\u00e9 <em>nic<\/em>.<a href=\"#_ftn6\" name=\"_ftnref6\">[6]<\/a> Co nem\u00e1 byt\u00ed, je nic. \u017d\u00e1dn\u00e9 stvo\u0159en\u00ed tedy nem\u00e1 byt\u00ed, nebo\u0165 jeho byt\u00ed odvis\u00ed od p\u0159\u00edtomnosti Bo\u017e\u00ed. Kdyby se B\u016fh jen na jeden jedin\u00fd okam\u017eik od v\u0161eho stvo\u0159en\u00e9ho odvr\u00e1til, p\u0159i\u0161lo by vnive\u010d. Ob\u010das \u0159\u00edk\u00e1m a je to tak\u00e9 pravda, \u017ee kdo by si k\u00a0Bohu vzal cel\u00fd sv\u011bt, nebude m\u00edt o nic v\u00edc, ne\u017e kdyby m\u011bl sam\u00e9ho Boha. Ve\u0161ker\u00e9 stvo\u0159en\u00ed nem\u00e1 bez Boha v\u00edce byt\u00ed, ne\u017e by m\u011bl bez Boha kom\u00e1r, p\u0159esn\u011b tolik, o nic v\u00edc a o nic m\u00ed\u0148.<\/p>\n<p>Nu\u017ee, sly\u0161te slovo pravdy! Kdyby dal n\u011bjak\u00fd \u010dlov\u011bk tis\u00edc marek ve zlat\u011b na to, aby se za to postavily kostely a kl\u00e1\u0161tery, byla by to velk\u00e1 v\u011bc. P\u0159ece by v\u0161ak znamenalo mnohem v\u00edce, kdyby t\u011bch tis\u00edc marek pova\u017eoval za nic. Vykonal by t\u00edm mnohem v\u00edc. Kdy\u017e B\u016fh stvo\u0159il v\u0161echna stvo\u0159en\u00ed, byla tak nicotn\u00e1 a bylo Mu mezi nimi tak \u00fazko, \u017ee se nemohl ani hnout. Du\u0161i v\u0161ak u\u010dinil sob\u011b natolik podobnou a v\u011brnou sv\u00e9mu obrazu, aby se j\u00ed mohl d\u00e1t cele. Kdyby j\u00ed tedy dal n\u011bco jin\u00e9ho, v\u016fbec by toho nedbala. B\u016fh se mi mus\u00ed d\u00e1t tak, jako pat\u0159\u00ed s\u00e1m sob\u011b, nebo se mi nedostane v\u016fbec ni\u010deho, ani \u017e\u00e1dn\u00e9ho p\u0159\u00edslibu. Ten, kdo m\u00e1 Boha takto cele p\u0159ijmout, se mus\u00ed zcela vzd\u00e1t sv\u00e9ho vlastn\u00edho i toho vezdej\u0161\u00edho. Takov\u00fd \u010dlov\u011bk p\u0159ij\u00edm\u00e1 od Boha v\u0161e, co B\u016fh m\u00e1, a to je pr\u00e1v\u011b tak vlastn\u00ed jemu, jako\u017e i Bohu a na\u0161\u00ed Pan\u00ed a v\u0161em t\u011bm, kdo\u017e jsou v\u00a0kr\u00e1lovstv\u00ed nebesk\u00e9m. Takov\u00fdm to pat\u0159\u00ed \u00fapln\u011b stejn\u011b, a tak je jim to i vlastn\u00ed. V\u00a0tomto jsme tedy syny a jsme tent\u00fd\u017e Syn.<\/p>\n<p>V\u011bnujte nyn\u00ed je\u0161t\u011b pozornost t\u011bmto slov\u016fm: \u201eje sh\u016fry, sestupuje\u201c. Nu\u017ee, ned\u00e1vno jsem v\u00e1m \u0159ekl, \u017ee ten, kdo chce n\u011bco p\u0159ijmout sh\u016fry, mus\u00ed b\u00fdt nutn\u011b dole a s opravdovou pokorou. A v\u011bzte vpravd\u011b, \u017ee tomu, kdo nen\u00ed \u00fapln\u011b dole, se tak\u00e9 ni\u010deho nedostane a nic neobdr\u017e\u00ed, by\u0165 by to t\u0159eba bylo sebenepatrn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed. Nem\u016f\u017eeme-li to \u010dinit sam\u00e9mu Bohu, pak to p\u0159ece \u010din\u00edme sami sob\u011b; a\u017e tak dalece se n\u00e1s to t\u00fdk\u00e1. Hle\u010f tedy, abys odevzdal Bohu v\u0161echno, s pravou pokorou p\u0159edstoupil p\u0159ed Boha a ve sv\u00e9m srdci povzn\u00e1\u0161el Boha sv\u00fdm pozn\u00e1n\u00edm. \u201eB\u016fh, n\u00e1\u0161 P\u00e1n, poslal na sv\u011bt sv\u00e9ho Syna.\u201c<a href=\"#_ftn11\" name=\"_ftnref11\">[11]<\/a> Kdysi jsem pr\u00e1v\u011b zde \u0159ekl: B\u016fh poslal sv\u00e9ho Syna, kdy\u017e se \u010das naplnil \u2013 ka\u017edi\u010dk\u00e9 du\u0161i, kter\u00e1 p\u0159ekro\u010dila v\u0161echen \u010das.<a href=\"#_ftn12\" name=\"_ftnref12\">[12]<\/a> Kdy\u017e se du\u0161e oprost\u00ed od prostoru a \u010dasu, po\u0161le Otec du\u0161i sv\u00e9ho Syna. Nu\u017ee, pr\u00e1v\u011b tento v\u00fdznam maj\u00ed tato slova: \u201eKa\u017ed\u00fd dobr\u00fd dar a ka\u017ed\u00e9 dokonal\u00e9 obdarov\u00e1n\u00ed je sh\u016fry, sestupuje od Otce sv\u011btel.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Abychom byli p\u0159ipraveni ka\u017ed\u00fd dobr\u00fd dar p\u0159ij\u00edmat, k\u00a0tomu n\u00e1m dopom\u00e1hej Otec sv\u011btel.
