Tu samou noc, ji\u017e my m\u00e1me za tak posv\u00e1tnou, oni naz\u00fdvali pohansk\u00fdm slovem <\/em>Modranecht<em>, to jest, \u201eNoc Matky,\u201c<\/em><a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\">[2]<\/a><em> nebo\u0165 \u2013 jak se domn\u00edv\u00e1me \u2013 ceremonie prob\u00edhaly celou noc.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Na star\u00e9m motivu poj\u00edc\u00edm se s <em>Modranicht<\/em> (viz obr. vpravo) vid\u00edme nad lemem s runami znamen\u00ed X pro\u0165at\u00e9 uprost\u0159ed vertik\u00e1lou a z obou stran doprov\u00e1zen\u00e9 dv\u011bma srdci, srv. D\u00e1le ve spojen\u00ed s\u00a0nimi m\u016f\u017eeme vid\u011bt ho\u0159\u00edc\u00ed kadidlo, sel\u00e1tka a m\u00edsy napln\u011bn\u00e9 ovocem stejn\u011b jako motivy ovocn\u00fdch strom\u016f a rostlin, a votivn\u00ed kameny a olt\u00e1\u0159e samotn\u00e9 se nach\u00e1zely sp\u00ed\u0161e ve skupin\u00e1ch kolem chr\u00e1mov\u00fdch budov kultovn\u00edch center ne\u017e n\u011bkde o samot\u011b.<\/p>\n<p>V\u00a0d\u00edle Francesca Colonny <em>Hypnerotomachia Poliphili aneb Poliphil\u016fv boj o l\u00e1sku ve snu<\/em><a href=\"#_ftn5\" name=\"_ftnref5\">[5]<\/a> \u010dteme o <em>Mater Amoris<\/em>, kde pozd\u011bj\u0161\u00ed l\u00ed\u010den\u00ed \u010dtvrt\u00e9ho triumfu (str. 220) odkazuje pr\u00e1v\u011b k t\u00e9to vzne\u0161en\u00e9 Matce \u2013 mo\u017en\u00e1 jsou to dokonce ony t\u0159i Matky, s nimi\u017e se <em>tam dole<\/em> setk\u00e1 Faust\u2026 \u2013, kdy\u017e toti\u017e<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201ena prav\u00e9 stran\u011b bylo mo\u017en\u00e9 spat\u0159it \u00factyhodnou \u017eenu v\u00a0po\u017eehnan\u00e9m stavu, j\u00ed\u017e se zjevil v\u0161evl\u00e1dn\u00fd Jupiter ve sv\u00e9 bo\u017esk\u00e9 podob\u011b, jako se ukazuje pouze Junon\u011b, toti\u017e s\u00a0takov\u00fdmi hromy a blesky, a\u017e \u017eena vzpl\u00e1la a sho\u0159ela na popel. Bo\u017esk\u00e9 d\u00edt\u011b bylo vy\u0148ato z\u00a0popela.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Jeho volba jej kone\u010dn\u011b \u0161\u0165astn\u011b dovede k milovan\u00e9 d\u00edvce, ji\u017e nejprve v\u00a0p\u0159ekr\u00e1sn\u00e9 nymf\u011b nerozpozn\u00e1.
